THE LATIN QUARTER

 

The Latin Quarter used to be the intellectual and artistic heart of Paris from the 1940s to the 1970s. There used to gather most famous French artists, writers and politicians.

 

It was also the epicenter of May 1968 youth protests and libertarian revolution.

 

During this visit of the other side of the Latin Quarter you will meet the ghosts of famous people from French literature and arts at Café Les Deux Magots, some heroes of the French Revolution at Café Le Procope, and other artists and intellectuals around the French Academy, La Sorbonne University, Collège de France, Fine Arts School and Pantheon.
