GAY PARIS (DAY & NIGHT)

 

Paris has a big GLBT community and has always been a place of tolerance for gay people.

 

Many gay artists and writers had a big influence on Paris intellectual and artistic life and reputation.

 

Today the gay scene is very dynamic and varied, with many sub-communities, from very masculine bears to extravagant drag queens.

 

Café de Flore at Saint-Germain des Prés was the gathering point of many gay intellectuals and artists. Today gay life is more concentrated around the districts of Le Marais and Les Halles.

 

In the district of Le Marais you will find many art galleries, trendy vintage clothes, fashion, art and design shops, gay bars, clubs and restaurants, book stores and sex-shops.

 

You will also enjoy some good example of traditional gay transformist live shows at famous cabaret Chez Michou located in hot Montmartre district, close to Moulin Rouge.

 

You will end up this tour by attending a unique gay party (Scream, on Saturday nights only) or in some trendy gay club of Le Marais like Le Raidd bar and its famous live shower show.
